Robert Dankanin, STEST CZ, Czech Republic

Robert has worked in software development and testing for more than 14 years. For 5 years before founding STEST, he specialised in set-up and management of large test centers at Česká spořitelna and DHL IT Services. Prior to that, he worked at Schemantix, Sun Microsystems, Sysis and Vaisala. He is founder and president of the Czech and Slovak Testing Board. From March 2009 he worked for two years as one of four Executives of the ISTQB as its Secretary. Robert holds a B.Sc. in Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence.

Jana Zientková

Jana entered the IT job market during her university studies in 2001. She worked shortly in development and help authoring systems, and then she started to focus on testing. She worked at Unicorn and her clients included Česká spořitelna and Škoda Mladá Boleslav. Then she moved to Česká spořitelna as a software Quality Assurance specialist in Testing department. She is a mother of three children (9, 6 and 2 year-old), which makes her a full-time mother and a part-time test specialist now. She is a Certification Committee manager in CaSTB (a regional ISTQB board), and she was a Programme Manager at Czech Test 2013 & 2012 and Conference Manager at Czech Test 2011.

Martin ChalányMartin Chalány, ESET, Slovakia

Graduate of Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies in SUT Bratislava. From 2005 working in area of software testing. Participated on development and implementation of Slovak State Treasury project (IT analyst and IT tester). Since 2009 member of testing team on Slovak Electronic Tolling System. Currently working as SW Tester for Eset. Experienced user of technologies and applications - database (Sybase, Oracle), bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla), automated testing (HP Quality Center, JMeter), analytical tools (Enterprise Architect MS Visio) as well as graphical tools (Adobe Photoshop). Holder of certificate The ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level and The ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level (Test Management module).

 

Radoslav Mlynář, Česká spořitelna, Czech Republic

Radoslav devoted testing more than 10 years of his career. He has practical experience with test management process optimization from process, as well as technical (tools, environments) point of view. Recently he leads software quality management team at Česká spořitelna a.s., the ERSTE bank group subsidiary company, where he is setting up test standard, covering fast-tracking, iterative and non-iterative development approaches and internal as well as external deliveries in multiplatform, highly integrated bank environment.

 

 

 

Pavel Verner, GMC Software Technology, Czech Republic

Pavel has 11+ years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance and overall 14+ years in SW development and testing. He is working for GMC Software Technology a French-Swiss company who is worldwide leader of Document Output For Customer Communications Management. He started at GMC R&D as a software test engineer later became team leader QA and currently takes the role Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering. Responsible for set-up of organization-wide Test Policies, Processes, Strategies, Metrics. He is leading CMMI DEV process improvement initiative at GMC R&D. Holder of certificate The ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level.

 

 

Aleš Baránek, ČSOB, Czech Republic

Started professional career in IT in 2005. Since that time he experienced to work in banking as project leader, IT analyst, business architect and IT line manager. His professional career is focused on change management, either in the role of project manager or team leader building and/or transforming line teams. To support that he obtained Prince2 Practitioner and Scrum Master certifications.

His career in testing is not long, however very intensive. In 2013 he got the opportunity to build the team of IT testing in CSOB and transform testing competences in order to perform SW testing efficiently and in desired quality. Today he leads a functioning team delivering testing for majority of CSOB SW development. He says: "Although we did a lot of work to reset the testing in IT, continuous improvement and tuning of testing processes is the key to perform our testing job on required level."
