Tutorial is mainly focused on junior Test Analysts. Secondary target groups are other testing and project roles. Attendees will get theoretical overview about test analysis, roles, processes and artefacts, levels and types of testing based on FURPS. We will discus static and dynamic testing, risks, reporting and available testing tools. Unification of testing vocabulary is essential. Main part of the tutorial covers basic test design techniques, based on ISTQB standards. After every design technique there will be chance to practice those techniques on examples from real life. Attendees will have chance to work in groups to share their knowledge and ideas.

As part of the tutorial we will discus typical challenging situations on projects and will try to find feasible solutions, using recommended best practices.
