Test Process Improvement - theory and praxis

Have you encountered problems during testing projects? Do you see that your line organization has lots of potential for improvements regarding test processes? Have you thought where to start with improvements to get most benefits in shortest time?

Our presentation is not only for those who answered three times YES. The presentation will introduce test profesionals to the structured aproach to beat problems in testing processes with highest benefit/cost ratio.

We will describe the key concepts standing of the world recognized test process improvement method - TPI Next and as an important part we will present a case study of a real TPI assessment.

 

Miroslav Renda, Capgemini, Czech Republic

Miroslav has been working for the past 5 years in Project Manager and Test Manager positions in large companies in financial sector, he has been working in ICT area for about 18 years. Miroslav focuses on areas of Quality Assurance and ICT Project management.

Miroslav gained his masters degree from Faculty of Electrotechnics, CTU Prague and later MBA degree from Czech University of Life sciences Prague. He’s a holder of Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL Foundation and ISTQB Certified Tester certificates.

 

 

Peter Svoboda, Capgemini, Czech Republic

Peter has been working in testing positions for 7 years, focusing on Test Management over past 5 years. You can meet Peter mainly on large projects in Finance / Insurance sectors, either leading testing streams or optimizing testing processes.

Peter studied Applied Informatics on Masaryk University, Brno and extended his expertise by knowledge of TMaP, TMMi and Prince2. He also holds Six Sigma and ISTQB Certified Tester certificates.
