What I learned in building a banking testing team

Building a testing team is not a common project testing activity. Many test managers usually manage teams they are borrowing from someone else for a limited period of time.

Because of this they do not get many opportunities to build a team or optimize it.

In my short talk I'll outline how I began with a the theoretical approach that I believed would work and how I dealt with the challenges which I faced during preparation, planning, implementation and optimisation of my testing team of 30+ staff.

I will describe the high level approach from business case calculation and stakeholder management through team selection to process and performance improvements and team motivation.
